 We can't wait for you to join our clinic! McMurry's Spirit Squad is hosting tryout clinics to allow prospective team members the chance to join. These clinics also serve as a fundraiser for the team and are $25 per registrant. Spirit squad members are elected each year in the spring. It is the duty of the cheerleaders, dancers and mascot to mold and lead school spirit at ALL athletic contests in which McMurry University participates. The cheerleaders, dancers and mascot have coaches who accompany them on all official off-campus trips and who will be with them for all in-town games. Cheerleaders, dancers and mascots are vital parts of McMurry University! They are very important in establishing and maintaining school spirit and morale. They are expected to serve as university ambassadors and to set the example for students of McMurry University at all times.
